All beneficiaries applied, met the requirements, and were vetted by our selection group in order to become a 2023 beneficiary.

The Cooperative Ministry
The Cooperative Ministry exists to increase the economic self-sufficiency of people experiencing poverty in the Midlands through crisis assistance and sustainability programs.

Cancer of Many Colors
Cancer of Many Colors assists cancer patients with basic living expenses and emergency needs. The foundation provides resources and support for cancer patients in Lexington, Richland, and surrounding counties. CMC was created to assist cancer patients in their recovery by reducing and alleviating stress related to financial issues.

Happy Wheels
Happy Wheels strives to put smiles on the faces of hospitalized children in South Carolina. Happy Wheels volunteers make rounds to each inpatient room with a decorated surgical cart filled with brand new books and toys. They visit approximately 400 children weekly at all 3 children's hospitals in South Carolina.

Girls on the Run Columbia
Girls on the Run inspires girls to be joyful, healthy, and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running.

Big Red Barn Retreat
The Big Red Barn Retreat provides heroes with transformative programs, training, and services so they become the best version of themselves.

Keep the Midlands Beautiful
Keep the Midlands Beautiful is a nonprofit affiliate of Keep America Beautiful. Our mission is to engage, inspire, and educate the Midlands to invest in our community through litter prevention, recycling, and beautification.

Growing Home Southeast
The mission is to enable at-risk children, youth, and families to realize their potential and contribute to their community. They believe that when the your potential is realized, the sky is the limit to what you can do. Everyone deserves a safe and loving home. They strive to make that a reality in everything they do. Every child they serve to have a safe and permanent home.

Sole Stepping
The mission of SOLE Stepping is to plant seeds of God's love through gifting elementary-aged children with new socks and shoes to encourage full participate in all aspects of the community.

Palmetto Place
Children and Youth Services
SCYAP is a private, non-profit, 501(c)3 child-placing and family-serving organization in South Carolina since 1990.
SCYAP programs promote individualized treatment, flexible programming, case and cause advocacy, community-based services, and a positive approach to treating children and working with families.

The FriendShip
The FriendShip supports older adults in the Columbia community who choose to live in their homes and maintain healthy, independent, active, and engaged lifestyles.

Canoeing for Kids
Canoeing for Kids primary function is to provide free paddle sport opportunities for disadvantaged children. Over 27,000 children have experienced paddle sports with CfK since 1993.
